As a central California health care leader for more than a century, Community Medical Centers has a rich history of medical excellence and compassionate care. With about 6,000 employees and 1,000 physicians, it also is the largest and most comprehensive hospital system in the San Joaquin Valley.
Community is a nonprofit, locally owned health care system that operates four acute-care hospitals and a variety of other health care facilities. We provide a full continuum of care from preventive education to outpatient services to intensive hospital treatment to home health.

Job Description
Tim is responsible for the strategic direction, design, implementation, and maintenance of the Business Information Systems including Application Development and Integration at Community Medical Centers.

Technology must be considered an enabler to support the strategic needs of the organization. Understand the business direction and leverage the appropriate solution to reach the desired goals and objectives.

Advice to Students
Decide what you want to do and develop a plan to reach your goal. Larger organizations require specialist (i.e., Networking, Web Development, Systems Administration, etc.) where the smaller organizations have fewer staff with broader skills sets. Gain the education, training, and hands-on work experience necessary to excel in your selected area. Most importantly, have fun in what you do!
